Besides the UBI you already get from PoH, the way of earning additional income is by participating in missions and bounties.

Missions require roles to commit from part-time to full-time. Bounties are task-based, so their work commitment varies from a couple of minutes to an 80 hours-long deliverable.

In specific, Missions are the formation of Squadrons to tackle HIPs, HPPs (Human Product Proposals), and client-based requests. Squadrons are the gathering of roles to take care of specific milestones. Payment is bond to milestone delivery. The client, either PoH, the Rebel Alliance, or a third party, will unlock funds as milestones are completed (We will deploy https://smartinvoice.xyz/ in Polygon).

Payment distribution depends totally on how the PM decides when summoning the Squadron. Be sure to understand the payment agreement before joining it.

Bounties are paid against deliverable checks. The Client pays to an escrow account the reward for the job request. When a Freelancer delivers it complying with the quality asked, the Client unlocks the payment, arriving immediately to the freelancer.

What happens if the Client does not unlock the payment? A dispute enters, and the case is given to a Decentralized Juror system (such as Kleros or LexDAO). They will unlock the payment towards the party that deserves it.
