Human Product Proposals

HPP

Human Product Proposals commonly referred to as “HPP”, are the community ideas for building products that use the $UBI token as a payment method and PoH as an identification mechanism. HPP are often open-source tools for the PoH ecosystem. However, HPPs for-profit are accepted too with some conditions.

One example of an open-source HPP under development is the Humanitarian Bounties, a fork of the Bounties Network in Polygon Network, with the aim to facilitate all humans to participate in bounties and job positions paid in $UBI.

A for-profit HPP can also access resources, with some conditions yet to be discussed. An example of potential conditions are: 0.2% of ROI goes to the DAO's treasury, 0.8% of ROI goes to the human.money vaults.

Looking to receive funding for a Human Product Proposal (HPP)? There a two ways. You apply directly to the DAO as a HIP, or you apply to the Alliance. The difference lays that on the first one you are asking funds to the DAO, and on the second, your request triggers three sources: The Alliance Treasury, the DAO's funds, and the @Fundraiser attention.

To apply for funds you need to first have the approval of the Alliance. How? Follow these steps:

  1. Create an issue on the HPPs Repo using the HPP template detailing why it benefits the DAO and how it will be executed.

  2. Add the new issue to the board of HPP Requests (or ask help from an @Assistant).

  3. Share that request in Discord under the #Propuestas (Proposals) channel, and follow the proposing process.

Once your proposal passes, Rebels will assist you in whatever is needed, from outlining your project into milestones, to promote it within the community, to fundraising.
